It is not possible to prevent photographs of any particular individual from appearing in the media. If this is a problem for you, you are advised not to take part in the event. If any parent wishes a particular picture of their child appearing on the SSAA website to be removed they can request this by contacting the Association secretary.

An entrant shall be deemed to have made himself/herself/themself, familiar with, and agreed to be bound by the UKA Anti-Doping Rules and to submit to the authority of UK Anti-Doping in the application and enforcement of the Anti-Doping Rules. The UKA Anti-Doping Rules apply to entrants participating in the sport of Athletics, for 12 months from the date of entering the event, whether or not the participant is a citizen of, or resident in, the UK.

"It is required that all teachers, team managers and all other adults involved in team selection are aware of the specifications being used in the events they are selecting athletes for and that all athletes are aware of the specifications and required to be suitably practiced in the events they will be participating in, especially the new specification hurdles which align with the UKA Rules for Competition(April 1st 2026) and the throws which lay outside of the current UKA Rules of Competition and align with the current ESAA Track & Field Championship Rules."
